Although it may not seem it, Kia already contains 10 years of production in Europe

As all know, Kia is a brand whose origin comes from Korea of the South. There I was born in the 40s and worked independently, although the crisis in Asia of late 90s made that you fall sharply, being rescued thanks to your Hyundai purchase. Since then, 2.5 million passenger cars and 3.8 million engines have been produced by Kia in Europe.

The plant in Slovakia, which has received 10 years ago some 1,700 million euros in investment, creates about 20,000 jobs between employees of the factory and the most important suppliers, with about 3,800 workers in three shifts of production lines. There is produced the models Kia Cee’ d, come and Sportage, exporting is to nothing less that 95 countries of the world.

Says Kia in its note of press that the model more produced in all these years in this plant Slovak is the EEC ‘ d, having occupied this model almost the 50% of the production total. As is logical, the next model in the list of greater number of units produced is the Kia Sportage, the SUV best seller that currently is the car more sold by the brand Korean. As last point, two trains and 90 trucks out to daily of such factory with 1,400 vehicles for partitioning by all those markets in which is marketed.
