In 2010, Audi premiered denomination with a completely new model, the Audi A1. The smallest model of the brand has been able to fight in a segment in which, so far, the “premium” label was not carried and, in addition, being born during the economic crisis. 7 years have passed already since the Audi A1 from reaching the market, having suffered any other update, but if everything follows its course, 2018 could be his last year.

Normally the lifecycles of a generation often last for 8 years, being this by what we say that probably end marketing in 2018. However, as normal is that the Audi A1 do not die, but is relieved by a second generation of this cute B-segment that lives its image and its qualities, because space isn’t exactly your greatest virtue, as we saw a few months ago with the Audi S1.

RM CarDesign has already thought of the Audi A1 generational and has ventured to imagine, in their own way, as it could be generational. Thus, presents these two renders, one of the front profile and one rear profile, depending on how they think it might be the new model.

As well as the new Seat Ibiza newly presented, and the Volkswagen Polo which we will see shortly, the Audi A1 next generation you will use for the first time the MQB A0 platform, so we can expect a better dynamic configuration and some dimensions that could be quite different from see those us in the current model.
