According to AMDA, during the last year 2016 in Mexico were sold a total of 1.604.760 million new vehicles between passenger cars and SUVs. This figure is a record for its economy and the national automotive industry as from the last year 2015 total sales they have increased by 18.7 percent. This data, as a whole, is the first time that it reaches since there are data for sales in Mexico, and according to AMDA could be overcome in 2017 if the economy continues its course and relax tensions with the United States.
