Proton Ertiga or how Suzuki grows in other countries with other brands

Proton Ertiga

Proton is one of the most unknown car firms in the sector, however if we remind you that it is the owner of Lotus Cars the thing could change. In addition, we talked about it on several occasions by some of their models or possible collaboration wanted to establish with other manufacturers to share technologies and thus make the company stronger. As well, today we bring you one of the models which Proton has released in its home market thanks to the collaboration of Suzuki.

The Proton Ertiga is the new small minivan of the Malaysian firm. This model takes the base and engines from the Suzuki Ertiga that is sold in the India. As you can see in the pictures the model has a very attractive design for the size that has and fits very well to the type of market to which it is addressed. The main difference that exists with the Suzuki car lies in the logos, different alloy wheels design and little else.

It is a car with a very content size that leverages the most inside to accommodate six occupants (the third-row bench has space for three people but only has two safety belts). This model is assembled at the factory having Proton in Malaysia even if not it uses no line of mounting, but Suzuki is served directly from its factory in Indonesia in CKD Kit form.

To do this it has a standard equipment composed of ABS brakes with EBD, airbags, ISOFIX fasteners, air conditioning with exit in the rear seats, rear parking sensor, multifunction steering wheel sound system with six speakers and connectivity for USB, front and rear electric windows, rear view mirrors with electric adjustment, etc.
