Yesterday launched a new month, the last of the year, and we already have in hand the recently completed month of November sales records . As it is customary at the beginning of each month, we are going to report what such has behaved the segment in terms of sales refers and which have been models and brands that best marketing figures have been obtained.
First of all, let’s review over the behavior of the automotive segment in Spain. Compared to November 2015, sales of passenger cars increased by 13.5%, with more than 92,000 units sold. However, the growth in the category of individuals has been braking, improving only 4%, probably by the end of Plan PIVE. The flip side is that companies and the car go up 28.6% and 42.9% respectively, in comparison with November of 2015.
In terms of enrollment in the cumulative year-round, in Spain already has exceeded the barrier of one million, with 1.050.121 deliveries from January 1 until November 30; What is a 11.1% improvement. In the first 11 months of 2016, private sales grow 7.3%, the companies a 15.4% and 15.9% rent-a-car.
Focusing on the sales of each brand of the month of November, Renault remains far above the rest with 8.322 registrations, gave an important jump. Continue you with 7.112 Volkswagen , Opel with 6.630, Seat with 6.542 and closing the top 5 Peugeot with 6.211 sales. Despite the great distance from Renault, only 2,000 units separate the first of the best-selling fifth. Classification in the accumulated year has as the best-selling Opel with 83.232 units, ahead of Volkswagen with 81.413 and Renault with 80.379. In fourth and fifth place are Peugeot and Seat, with 75.652 and 72.768 registrations respectively.
Already speaking of models, very important has been the growth of the Megane, which passes from fifth place from October to November, with 3,071 units first. The other two drawers of the podium are the Seat Leon and Ibiza, with 2.529 2.333. In third and fourth place are the Nissan Qashqai and Golfwith 2,286 and 2,047 sales. Nice fight in accumulated of the year, with the C4 and Leon separated by only 14 units so far of the year, registering 32.201 and 32.187 units respectively. If everything continues as in the past month, the Martorell will be the best-selling car of the year. In third, fourth and fifth place are the Ibiza, Golf and Corsa, with 29.948, 25.754 and 25,030 registrations in these first 11 months from 2016.
We finished with the fuels market share. In November the 39.8% of those cars have been of gasoline, the 56.2% of diesel and the 4% remaining hybrid or electric, with a good increase for these last. In the jackpot, gasoline has held the 40.2% of total sales, the 56.9 diesel and alternative propulsion 2.9%.
