The current generation of the Toyota Avensis came to our market in 2015. The great boom of the SUV models and crossover, as we have said on numerous occasions, has much of the blame that the generalist sedans are in the doldrums, while that of premium brands maintain some positive data. Toyota Avensis, therefore, is suffering from the so-called SUVs sales growth.
The firm Japan seeks to increase its truck sales through promotions and equipment that make it more interesting face to prospective buyers. Therefore, in this version “Model Year 2017” has decided to divide the trim levels giving Toyota Avensis a fairly complete equipment from the lowest finish. On one side will have two levels of equipment for the sale to private (Advance and Executive) and two others for the sales professionals (Business and Business Advance).
In the case of the Toyota Avensis for individuals we have Advance and Executive finishes. The Advance included the visibility Pack which previously marketed as an option and that includes Full LED headlights, daytime running lights and fog lights with cornering function front. There are some 17-inch finished in two-tone alloy wheels on this finish.
On the other hand is a new color for the bodywork, with the designation Red Tokyo, which is new in other models such as the Auris, Toyota Verso, Auris Touring Sports 2017. Also this Toyota Avensis 2017 may have a new upholstery in leather, stand back for tablets, sensors of parking, alarm, etc., that are sold through Toyota Custom.
In the mechanical section no changes for this update of range, keeping the petrol Avensis 140 (147 HP) and the two diesel version 115D (112 HP) and 150 d (143 HP).
