Volvo S90 and V90, sportier now thanks to the R-Design package

The Swedish manufacturer had us at the end of last year its new ship logo in sedans is concerned, the Volvo S90. Shortly after it did the same sister launching family version, the V90. Two cars whose main letters are the design, the comfort and the good roll. Both have been developed on the platform SPA and, from now on, you may receive the sporty R-Design package.

The latest model of the Swedish car maker to receive these “vitamins” was the Volvo XC90. Now turn arrives to the saloon and the relative who, supposedly, in addition to being more sporting aesthetically tambien will count with a point-to-point different staging to get a firmer and more dynamic in their driving behavior.

Bodies receive a series of modifications that affect, abroad, mainly to the bumper with a slightly sportier profile and a relocation of the fog lights, a main Grill finished in piano black, rims again design reminiscent of those used by BMW in the M6 by its five double spoke of small thickness, and a rectangular chrome-finished exhaust outlets.


On the other hand, in the cockpit of the Volvo S90 and V90 with the R-Design package will find a few more sport specific seats, pedals and aluminum inserts and a sportier steering wheel.

As we see, every detail contributes your grain of sand to give the sedan and the family of an aesthetic with greater sportsmanship, something that we normally see in the “standard” versions of the Swedish models. In this way, the driver and occupants will have the feeling of being on Board (or to see it from the outside) a Volvo of cutting very dynamic, while maintaining virtually comforts that always stands out in the Swedish company cars.

Volvo already accepted orders, from today, from the Volvo S90 and V90 with the R-Design package, however, still has not released its list of prices for the Spanish market. The cost will probably vary depending on the chosen version.
