Gradually more people will know to VUHL, a small manufacturer of Mexican origin that a few years produces a rather unique sports. The VUHL 05 is one of those few very effective light vehicles for circuit, in the style of the Ariel Atom, the KTM X-Bow, the monkey BAC or the Caterham R300. Now for the Festival of the Goodwood speed they have prepared a release.
In this event, which will be held from 23 to 26 June they will use to present to the VUHL 05RR, a model which as its name suggests, will be even more radical. We have seen so far only a series of teasers consisting of images of some details of the sport and with the characters forming his name. We can highlight a few pedals in aluminum, part of the rear diffuser or some carbon fiber wheels.
Mark tells us that the VUHL 05RR will be rather lighter than the 05 normal. Although that is already difficult in itself, since only weighs about 700 kg. Also that aerodynamics will be improved and that there will be updates that will make it faster. This makes us think that the engine 2.0 EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder and original Ford could undergo an increase in power to overcome the 285 HP and 420 Nm.
By their was little show know a vehicle with these characteristics, the new VUHL 05RR will try to do a good time in the Goodwood Hillclimb. To achieve this they have asked for help to Jordan King, test pilot of Formula 1 Manor Racing team. It will be worth of arguments as an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h that it will drop 3.7 seconds. We will wait 10 days remaining for this event.
