The Bugatti Galibier left us all speechless when Mark French, part of the Volkswagen Group, presented in 2009 to the public its image. However, Bugatti had to decide between launch to the market the Galibier or bet all their cards by the successor of the Veyron. Certain it is, much time has passed since that decision, but the Bugatti Veyron isn’t one car either, and his successor should be better at everything, so the funds allocated to the Galibier is shifted to the new Chiron.
Over time, customers of the brand would want to access a wider car and which would allow them to maintain the same degree of sportiness and exclusivity than the Veyron. By this, in the brand is is studying the possibility of launching a new model and the first in the list could be the Bugatti Galibier.
According to Wolfgang Dürheimer (CEO of Bugatti) signing will follow four strategies for expanding its range in the future. One of these strategies could be to rescue from oblivion to the Galibier and stand up to the Mercedes Maybach 6 Vision with a product at the height. The other strategies could be a SUV of large dimensions to fight against the new all road of Rolls Royce, a sports small located below the Chiron and the substitute of the same (Chiron).
