A couple of weeks ago, as if it wasn’t something too important and without making much noise, the German mark of the four rings confirmed the arrivals of the Q4 Audi and Audi Q8, by mentions on their dates and places of production. Thus the firm confirmed expansion of their SUV range and, in addition, entry into the segment of the SUV-Coupe that is working so good your competition.
Audi Q4 will be produced at the factory that the brand has in Gyor, Hungary, in 2019. Although not yet confirmed, this new Coupe will take based on the brand new Audi Q5’s second generation, sharing platform, engines and a multitude of elements. Its position in the mark will be in Q3 and the aforementioned Q5. The case is that, while the news has left only few days ago, already speaks of a very introduction variant with the initials RS that would result in an Audi RS Q4.

According to the medium Autobild, Audi RS Q4 will be available in the market at the end of the same year 2019, something that fails to convince us it would be strange that it launched its most dynamic version in the same year as the more conventional versions. In addition to this RS variant, is also rumored that the new model could use the new block engine 1.5 TSI Evo of the Group and the propulsion system plug-in hybrid “e-tron” that we know for some time on the A3.
Turning to the so-called Audi RS Q4, the Middle says that it would possibly use the drive 2.5 five-cylinder TFSI. This drive is already mounted on models such as the Audi RS 3 and the Audi TT RS, so its performance is more than proven. In these two models yields a maximum power of 400 HP and a torque of 480 Nm. It would be no surprise that Audi is not used for the wheel drive quattro system or dual-clutch s tronic seven-speed transmission.
