In a connected official have informed that Zeniuty is the company resulting from this union that will be property to the 50 per cent of each company participant. With its creation Autoliv will invest 120 million € uros and Volvo for its part will bring to society the part corresponding to the human resources necessary to carry out the project as well as intellectual property licenses which are necessary as the system ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
The mission that pursue is the creation of a new software of driving autonomous that can apply to them vehicles of the manufacturer Swedish in a principle (will be sold to other brands later). The new firm should be running in the middle of this year and they might have on the street the first attendees of driving in 2019. The next step that would give would be the marketing of cars completely autonomous of face to the year 2021.
The place chosen to situate this new company Headquarters is the city of Göteborg (Sweden), but in the near future will also operate in other cities such as Munich (Germany) and Detroit (USA).
